Cookie Policy - Public Website
Introduction
Cookies are small files created by your web browser to store information. In general these snippets of information are helpful and make your online life easier by, for example, remembering options you set when previously visiting a webpage.
However, over time they have become used more and more to collect data about our likes and dislikes so that organisations can put products or information in front of us that they "believe" will be "useful" to us / them. And so it is now a requirement under UK & European Law to be able to block these cookies.
The SERV Sussex Website
The vast majority of our website uses just one anonymous cookie to help you navigate the site and to record whether you wanted cookies blocked or allowed.
The one exception is the contact us page which uses a technology from Google called re-Captcha to try to stop online bots sending us unwanted spam via the form. This page places a cookie called _GRECAPTCHA on to your machine to help determine if you are an automated robot (bot) or not.
Should you not wish to have this cookie you should choose the block cookies option (within the black Cookie policy tab at the bottom of the page).
